What is a Home Manager?

An Empty Home Solutions Home Manager is an individual or family with beautiful furnishings who lives in a vacant home that is currently for sale. A Home Manager allows Realtors to show the home, keeping it clean, fresh, inviting, and at all times, "Show–Ready". In exchange for diligently performing these tasks, Home Managers get to live the life of luxury at dramatically reduced monthly fees, which are far below the current rental market rate. Who are Home Managers?

Empty Home Solutions Home Managers come from every walk of life. Are you relocating to a new area, and unsure of where you would like to settle? Perhaps you are in the process of building a new home, or you have a job that makes it difficult to be tied to a lease. A Home Manager might be a person who is experiencing a major change in life that requires short term housing, or maybe they just want to save thousands of dollars a year on housing costs. An Empty Home Solutions Home Manager might simply be someone who enjoys the excitement of living in, and experiencing many different and beautiful homes. [back to top]

Do Home Managers have to sign a lease?

No - this is one of the greatest advantages of becoming an Empty Home Solutions Home Manager. We only require a thirty day minimum stay in our "Show–Ready" homes. As a Home Manager, you are an independent contractor helping to stage a vacant home and not a tenant of Empty Home Solutions LLC. Because the home is on the market, and our purpose is to help sell the homes, it is not possible, or necessary to lease or rent the home.

Do you allow pets or smoking?

No - Empty Home Solutions promises its home owners a pet-free, and smoke free home and we do not make any exceptions.

Can I be a Home Manager if I have children?

Yes - of course!. Because many of our large homes are designed for families, they simply appeal more, and sell faster when occupied and staged by families. Potential buyers with children react better, and warm up considerably more toward a home occupied with children.

Do I have to decorate the home myself?

No - Empty Home Solutions LLC supplies a stager/designer to help set up your entire home. Our design team will carefully arrange your furniture, artwork and accessories so that the home looks perfect and "Show–Ready" and presents in a way to give the home the best chance of selling.
